Nicholas Culpeper, 17th century herbalsit.Flax Farm's Linseed has a long history as a reliable remedy. In the 1653 Complete Herbal, herbalist, physician and botanist, Nicholas Culpeper refers to the plant as both “Flax” (the plant which was grown in the field for the production of Linen) and “Linseed” the seed of that plant. The herbal recommends the “cold-drawn” oil for treatment of many conditions of the chest area. Read more.
