Original bronze linseed, has a mild, slightly nutty flavour. It tastes particularly good in porridge, muesli and home baking – try it in bread , teabreads or flaxjacks for extra richness.. It has the same nutritional properties as the ground gold linseed.

Storage and Shelf-Life:

Flax Farm Freshly Ground Linseed is simply linseed freshly ground and packaged, nothing added, nothing taken away. We have no interest in making a long shelf-life product. Our Linseed Meal is made to be enjoyed fresh as a natural healthy food.

We don’t use any preservatives but the gentle production method means it tastes great.

We recommend the packets are used within the best before date, If it is stored in the freezer it extends its life for up to an extra month .

We recommend the open packets of meal are stored in the fridge in a tupperware container or similar. Which is the ideal place because it is cold and, more importantly, dark.
