This is where flapjacks and fruit cake meet. We made these cakes so I could have a healthy slice of fruitcake when I needed an energy boods – but it had to be wheat-free and for something I eat regularly, the other free-froms are important too. So this makes them suitable for many special diets and irrespective of dietary needs they have quickly became another favourite with us and our customers.
Flax Farm Fruit Cake Flaxjacks are very fruity, moist and gooey like a rich dark fruit cake. Instead of sugar we sweeten them with fruit, a little organic blackstrap molasses and a tad of erythritol (a naturally occurring sweetener) extracted from the sap of Swedish birch trees).

These flaxjacks are butter-free, dairy-free, coconut oil-free, saturated fat free, vegan and gluten free with no wheat – and low in sugars/no added sugar. We use no saturated fats, no vegetable oil, shortening, margarine, butter or coconut oil; instead we just use our lovely fresh cold-pressed linseed (flaxseed) oil which is highly unsaturated with Omega 3. These cakes are cooked at low temperature to protect the omega-3,
Each slice contains the equivalent of more than 2 teaspoons linseed (flax) oil and of course the benefits of our ground linseed.
