Nokcha is an organic green tea from Korea. It is a summer-picked tea so it is lower in caffeine. It is imported and hand-packed by East Teas of London and Borough Market.
Pack size: 50g in sealed pouches.
Directions: Brew at 60-80°C for up to 30 seconds. Each cup can be re-brewed up to make 4 cups. (making it very good value!)
Caffeine: already a relatively low caffeine drink each successive brew has even less caffeine.
This is a lovely green tea, quite unlike mass-produced green teas. It is good enough to suit the palate of a connoisseur but we selected it because we liked it so much and East Teas recommend it as a good introduction to drinking fine green tea.
Nokcha is a seldom-seen green tea with a natural toasty sweetness and an earthy, biscuity fragrance. Certified as traditionally-produced and so grown entirely traditionally without any chemicals and certified organic in Korea. This is a great tea which makes every day special.
East teas is a London-based partnership dedicated to importing specialist, fine-quality loose-leaf green and white teas, teas and tea utensils from east Asia for over ten years. East Teas import special and unusual loose-leaf teas obtained directly from farmers, experts, and small local suppliers in China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan. Their knowledge enables them to select very fine teas at a lower price than you would expect to pay for such quality.
