125mlFlax Farm Cold-Pressed Linseed (Flaxseed) OilJust use as much as you need.
1Medium onion sliced
10 Cloves garlic lightly mashed
Instructions
Weigh the Linseed Oil into a suitable pyrex or similar glass container that has a lid, or can be covered. It needs to be large enough to take the coconut oil as well. Place it in the freezer for 20 minutes to make linseed oil really cold.
Melt coconut oil gently in frying pan.
Place onion onions in the oil and cook gently for 15 minutes until lightly straw coloured.
Add garlic and cook for a further 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool a bit. Then strain through a sieve into the cold linseed oil and stir.
Use when cool. Store in the fridge for up to one month. Use to top cooked veg, buckwheat or potatoes. Also good on bread or toast.
