Method
- Heat molasses until just starting to bubble but don't overheat.
- Add boiling water, stir, then add the ground linseed. Mix thoroughly.
- Place mixture in a 14 x 9 inch baking tray lined with baking parchment/silicon paper and level out until smooth.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 160C, take care not to overcook.
- Remove from oven, allow to cool and cut into 14 slices.
Notes
Honey or malt extract can be substituted for the molasses.
