Gold Flaxseed, has a slightly more delicate flavour and is finer ground than bronze. This makes it more versatile for adding to a wide range of food. It tastes good in breakfast cereals, smoothies, with fruit (fresh or cooked), soups, stews and home baking for extra richness.. It has the same nutritional properties as the bronze Flaxseed meal.

Storage and Shelf-Life:

Flax Farm Freshly Ground Flaxseed is simply Flaxseeds freshly ground and packaged, nothing added, nothing taken away. We have no interest in making a long shelf-life product. Our ground Flaxseed is made to be enjoyed fresh.

We don’t use any preservatives and the gentle production method means it tastes great.

We recommend the packets are used within the best before date, If it is stored in the freezer it extends its life for up to an extra month .

We recommend the open packets of meal are stored in the fridge in a Tupperware container or similar, which is the ideal place because it is cold and, more importantly, dark.

Important: Always drink an extra large glass of water when eating Flaxseed.
