Lots of beauty products contain omega-3 but combined with harsh, allergenic additives and chemicals. For a pure totally natural cleansing oil or moisturiser use our cold-pressed linseed oil to clean and moisturise your skin. Cold-pressed linseed oil contains natural emulsifiers to dissolve the omega-3 into the developing skin cells where it helps build healthy supple soft skin but absolutely nothing added.

How to use linseed for moisturising the skin:
For normal or oily skin types: Pour a few drops of Flax Farm cold-pressed linseed oil into the palm of your hand, then gently massage into the skin in small circular movements.
For dry or very dry skin types: make a simple dry-skin moisturiser from Flax Farm cold-pressed linseed oil and coconut oil.
Homemade pure, completely natural dry skin moisturiser. Recipe: place 60g Flax Farm cold-pressed in a continer in the fridge. Gently warm 100g cold-pressed coconut oil in a saucepan until it melts, then add into the linseed oil and stir. Optional extra, add the contents of a capsule of pure starflower oil. Store in a dark cool place. Use daily to moisturise, gently massage into the skin in small circular movements.

Normal vegetable oils, even olive oil contains omega-6 an inflammatory fat can contain trans fats. When heated in cooking these fats can oxidise and produce toxins that upst the healthy balance of your skin. Coconut oil contains healthy medium chain fatty acids which are more stable oiland healthier to cook with.
