It’s a fresher, healthier alternative to peanut and other shop bought nut butters and you can vary the ingredients to your own health requirements. It’s sugar-free you can sweeten it with honey, maple syrup, stevia or other sweetener. If you want to add salt you can choose your favourite. It’s saturated fat-free.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Flax Farm Ground Linseed (Flaxseed) Gold or bronze
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 3.5 Tablespoons Flax Farm Cold-Pressed Linseed (Flaxseed) Oil or 50-60g
  • 1-2 Tablespoons runny honey or other sweetener equivalent
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Water If you use less honey or sweetening make up the amount with water

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Leave a few seconds and spread on bread, crackers or toast.
  • Store in fridge for up to a week.

Notes

If the honey is set, simply warm it in a bain marie or a few seconds in the microwave. Warm honey can help the butter mix easier.
